This course aims to give beginning students a practical command of the vocabulary and grammar of the language. Upon completion of this course, students can expect to be able to discuss their daily activities using the simple present, past perfect and future verb tenses. Topics include imperative and interrogative forms, 专有名词, possessives and simple sentence structure.

Building upon the skills studied in Level One, topics include coordinate and subordinate clauses, 反身动词, comparatives and superlatives. Students express themselves more precisely as they gain skill using the simple past, pluperfect and conditional perfect verb tenses. Structured speaking and listening activities focused on daily conversation topics enable students to improve dramatically their vocabulary and mastery of grammatical skills. Upon completion of this course, students should also be able to compose a simple letter.

Since communication in a foreign language requires an understanding of the cultural context, our aim is to teach you the living language through carefully selected textbooks, newspaper and magazine articles and other relevant materials, rather than have you repeat and memorize tourist phrases.
Our teachers usually provide suggestions for texts and supplementary materials before the beginning of a program, both group and private.

学费 for the 荷兰 program at all levels is $419. There is a non-refundable $35 registration fee for first-time students only.
In addition to our core program, we offer immersion programs which cover levels 1 to 5 of our core program in 6 weeks (4 weeks in summer). 学费 for the daytime immersion program is $2,095.

私人 instruction offers students an opportunity to work one-on-one with an instructor at their own pace. The instructor carefully selects materials and plans lessons to effectively meet the student's goals and individual learning style.
私人 programs offer a flexible schedule and a customized curriculum. A minimum of 20 hours of instruction with one or two classes (each 90 or 120 minutes) per week is the suggested module, 但是日期, times and content can be arranged according to your requirement.
